About Me

I am a beach girl at heart, through and through. I prefer to have my toes in the sand, and if I am within a certain distance from the ocean, I can't resist sticking my feet in it. 

I love crafting, sewing, and making things! I blame my mom for all the time we spent painting rocks, hot gluing things, and the multiple colors of glitter and fabric that were always available. 

I love to cook. I have a nutritional condition that made eating like a chore for the first 15 years of my life, and then I discovered a cookbook in Cosco (of all places right?) that had food that I wanted to try. So I made it. And then I made more. And now I have more cookbooks and recipes than fit on my bookshelf, and half the time I don't even use them because I dump things in that sound like they would taste good together! I believe in butter, the real stuff. And I like salt and savory food. Occasionally I can be persuaded by loved ones to make something sweet. I have yet to make cookies that actually look like cookies however... 

I am so fortunate to have the most wonderful Hubby in the world. He takes such good care of me! And he comes along for the ride with most of my projects and he is my favorite taste tester for a new recipe. 

I am expecting my first baby very soon! I am so excited to be his Mom and I love making things for him already! 

I love to be happy, I love family, and I love to laugh. And those three things almost always go hand in hand.
